Yakutsk - One

1st day
Meeting in Yakutsk airport - with qualified interpreter guide, accomodating in Hotel
Sterkh (one of the best hotel in Yakutsk downtown).
Rest - 2-3 hours, which you will need after tiresome flight.
Brief tour over city - visiting the most attractive and interesting places of Yakutsk and
its vicinity, during the tour you may buy souvenirs and unique hand made ethnic goods.
Unforgettable experience of touching the contrast between Old Town and the life of
Siberian city nowadays.
Visiting
Central Museum of Regional Studies - this is one of the most interesting and wealthy
museums in Siberia, unique exhibits about life and culture of native Northern people.
2nd day
Tour along Lena river and excursion to Sottintzy - architectural-museum complex in the
open air - lots of impressions during the vessel trip on great, mighty river, you will see
nature of Sottintzy - magic place, magic complex under open sky - traditional Yakuts
dwellings, old houses of Russian merchant people, XVII century church, rarest exhibits.
Dinner in traditional Yakutian house (national and Russian cooking).
Picnic in village house - meeting with traditions, customs, culture and native Yakutian
cooking. Here you will hear specific national songs, will know and even take part in old
ceremonies. You will see how local people grow almost all traditional vegetables in this
severe place.
3rd day
Visiting permafrost Observing Institute Museum. - this is an excursion to only one in its
kind, unique museum, here you will take an opportunity to go down underearth to see real
permafrost, you’ll find many interesting facts about how people here adapt themselves
for living in these conditions, how they build houses and engineering objects on Extreme
North.
Tour to culture-ethnographic complex Bakaldyn - the sole in Yakutia complex where you can
combine the rest on a coast of taiga river Kenkeme with interesting excursion over
ethnographic complex. Here you will see traditional dwellings of Evenks - from Stone Age
till recent past, will be amazed by ancient epic stories, will take part in old
ceremonies, national games and contests.
4th
day
Day of departure - unfortunately, our tour is over, and everything has its conclusion. But
we are sure that you will leave with those impressions that you will not find anywhere
